We are currently looking for caring, kind, dependable and personable individuals who desire to provide non-medical, in-home care to the elderly. Our caregivers often become like a surrogate family member helping to meet the needs of their clients. They all have the willingness to help. If you are a reliable, caring and compassionate individual that enjoys being around seniors, you can help provide caregiving services to our clients.
You will be given training in the Do's and Do Nots.
You may do as little or as much as you are able to.
Duties may include simple companionship, taking a senior for a walk, taking them to their doctor appointments or going to the store to pick up prescriptions, running errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, assistance with hygiene, medication reminders, and other non-medical daily living assistance depending on each individual client’s needs. Some clients may need transportation to doctor’s appointments; therefore, those with a driver’s license and a car are needed as well.
At first it might feel a little odd to be visiting a senior in their home. But before you know it, you will be a part of that person's life and enjoy helping them. Caregiving provides opportunities to demonstrate love and commitment, to share special moments, to develop new friendships, and to make someone else's life a little bit easier.
